It All Began With One Guy’s Dream

The story of Professional Risk Solutions took shape in 2001, as a one-person enterprise launched in the living room of De’ Andre Salter’s home in New Jersey. After a successful career at Chubb, CNA, and Crum & Forster, De’Andre wanted to control his own destiny. His vision was to break out of the conventional wholesaler and intermediary mold, and serve as an expert outsourcing partner for aggressive and fast-growing agents. At first, “D” was the sole broker, customer service rep, treasurer, and executive. (He even served as his own receptionist; when agents called asking for De’Andre, he’d politely say, “Please hold, I’ll transfer you”. He would transfer the phone to his other hand and take the call.)

Today, however, PRS supports agents and brokers through three offices in three states, a best-in-class customer service team, a paperless work environment, a winning sales team, and an executive team with an entrepreneurial attitude. De’Andre no longer handles receptionist duties, but when you call PRS today you’ll be served by the same innovative spirit that has sparked PRS from the beginning.
